Low energy and running errands

Lets talk about yesterday....it was busy and exhausting! I woke up feeling with better energy and with fibromyalgia those are great days! With this energy it was a good day for errands but every errand just took more of me; lucky I have a very supportive boyfriend to help. With this disease sometimes just carrying a 5 pound energy will feel heavy and tiring. There are ways to deal with exhaustion that work for me.

  1. Taking a nice warm bath with bath salts specifically for muscle recovery and I add bubbles infused with lavender and chamomile with music; I mean who doesn't appreciate a nice warm bath and playing with bubbles lol

  2. Taking a break and some quiet time also helps. Let your mind and body absorb your exhaustion. Taking time to recharge your body and mind are CRUCIAL to fighting the mental exhaustion as well.

  3. If you have the time get some sleep or a nice nap. Sleeping 8-10 hours is recommended and important for those of us dealing with the exhaustion that comes with fibromyalgia. It benefits your physical and mental health.

  4. Journaling...I recently starting doing this and its been helpful. Sometimes we just do not want to talk about our well being because it feels like nagging or complaining but a journal you write everything down, close the journal and just practice mindfulness and breathing deeply to release that stress.

  5. Last but not least have a team of great doctors and always reach out when things are so bad it literally feels and in times you alone is not enough to recover. Reach out to your doctors and let them know. Fibromyalgia comes with sooo many extra symptoms you want to make sure it doesn't worsen or its something new that early detection will help you.

Overall, today i'm exhausted but I have time today to take my bath and sleep to feel better. Lets not be co-dependant on these pills; there's just too many. Let's focus, if possible, focus on natural remedies. Let's focus on strength to fight and happiness to live another day ;-)
